One of our most exciting projects this
year is in collaboration with the Junior Service League
of Grand Junction whose yearly Walk-4-Life provides funding
for mammography screening exams for low income, uninsured
women in Mesa County. Our project Leaves-4-Life shares
in this worthy effort and at the same time provides scholarships
for our post-adjuvant therapy wellness retreats, "Art
in the Canyons," here at Eagleheart Center for Art and
Inquiry. The leaves will be mounted, and in fact cover
a 19' tall central water feature and benches at the Western
Colorado Botanical Gardens. You can participate in this
wonderful venture by purchasing and inscribing or ordering
the inscription of a ceramic leaf. Celebrate someone
you love, celebrate yourself or simply inspire others
with your personal mantra.

We will block-stamp a name, a favorite
saying, even just a single inspiring word in a wet clay
leaf in honor of your own experience or that of a loved
one or a friend. Choose from 5 beautiful glaze colors

Your leaves will then be installed in benches and a new sculptural water feature at the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens called Celebration Plaza. This exciting pedestrian plaza and walkway will provide a place of family gathering as well as quiet meditation. It's a place to remember and honor the brave lives that have been challenged by cancer.
Each tile leaf is a permanent and lasting high-fired ceramic. You may inscribe your own at this year's Walk-4-Life in October or you may order a leaf to be made to your wording by one of Eagleheart's Artists. You can choose from three styles and sizes of Leaves. Include spaces in your character count.
